SocialSight empowers
educators, families, businesses
and communities with the
knowledge, skills and mindset
required to navigate the
parameters of the Australian
disability sector, particularly
the NDIS.
We believe it is our role to
advocate for those that
cannot advocate for
themselves. To bridge the
gap for genuine accessibility
for people of all abilities.
I attended training delivered by Nour in Decemeber 2020 and found it extremely beneficial. She clarified how the NDIS works for students in primary school and the importance of having this knowledge in the education field. I found the session both informative and insightful.
In my time working with Nour, I have found her very professional, willing to assist and dependable.
After going to a few NDIS planning meetings for my daughter alone, I now understand the power of an advocate like Nour. Nour is an amazing and caring Social Worker who truly and understood the needs of a Person with Disability (PwD) and the family and support system around them. She played such an important role in helping me understand how to articulate my child’s needs with planners in a way that depicted our family lifestyle and a true image of my child’s abilities. I trule thought I understoof the NDIS then Nour taught me the skill of how to fully advocate for my daughter. I highly recommend Nour’s services for anyone who deals with the NDIA and wants to understand how to appropriately communicate the needs of a PwD.
I attended training run by Nour and other allied health staff and the experience was absolutely wonderful. It was presented in a way which was easy to understand and apply. Nour and her staff are friendly and approachable. Thank you Nour and your team for your hard efforts.
Imagine feeling foggy, lost and insecure about navigating the NDIS system. Now imagine a guide coming in with a map, saying “I know the way, follow me, you will be just fine”. Social Sight is that map, and Nour Abdo is that guide. I can see the core values of social justice and social equity fueling all aspects of Social sight as a practice.
